Ok, ok, I know I should not be talking about Christmas at all but, I can't help it, it is the best time of the year (my Birthday and New Years included). It always starts when everyone is instagramming pictures of their Starbucks 'Pumpkin Spice Latte's'. I am not too fussed about Halloween, so these images just pass my mind onto Christmas drinks. So, like today when scrolling through instagram, I spotted a picture if my friends 'Pumpkin Spice Latte', I started craving a Christmas Drink. So to make your life easier, these are the Starbucks and Costa Coffee Christmas Drinks of 2013:
Latte with a couple shots of gingerbread syrup, topped with cream and nutmeg.
Real Eggnog, mixed with milk, espresso and topped with nutmeg.
-Toffee Nut Latte
Latte with toffee nut syrup and crunchy toffee sprinkles.
Orange flavoured mocha, topped with whipped cream and festive red sprinkles.
Mocha with peppermint syrup, topped with whipped cream and festive red sprinkles.
-Caramel Brulee Latte
Milk with an espresso, flavoured with a caramel brulee sauce and topped with whipped cream and a caramel brulee topping.
-Gingerbread and Cream Latte
Espresso with steamed milk served with gingerbread flavoured syrup and topped with cream and a mini gingerbread man.
-Honeycomb and Cream Hot Chocolate
Hot chocolate with a shot of honeycomb syrup.
-White Hot Chocolate and Cream
White chocolate sauce with milk and topped with cream and cherry sauce.
-Salted Caramel and Cream Latte
Espresso with steamed milk served with salted caramel flavoured syrup and topped with cream and caramel sauce.
-Black Forest Hot Chocolate
Hot chocolate with a shot of blackberry syrup and topped with cream, cherry sauce and a sprinkle of chocolate curls.
-Hot Spiced Apple
Hot spiced apple with star anise and cinnamon stick.
I am so excited for these, I want to try all of them now so that throughout the winter I now which one I should get. But seeing as I can't do that, I am most looking forward to the Peppermint Mocha from Starbucks and the Salted Caramel and Cream Latte from Costa Coffee.
